What I consider to be the best of the original 1964 - 1980 Pink Panther cartoon series.

The Pink Panther: Created by Bob Boyle. With Matt Frewer, John Byner, Sheryl Bernstein, Dan Castellaneta. The cartoon follows the adventures of an actual pink panther with the occasional cartoon starring Inspector Clouseau.

A pink-haired girl named Stephanie moves to LazyTown with her uncle (the mayor of said town) where she tries to teach its extremely lazy residents that physical activity is beneficial.

The Pink Panther sneaks inside a department store after hours, but makes an effort into hiding from the janitor without being noticed. Chaos ensues with the store's merchandise including the tiger-skin rug.

The Pink Panther: Created by Kelly Armstrong, Ed Baker. With Tom Holland, Arte Johnson, Pat Harrington Jr., Paul Winchell. The series follows a pink panther who outwits those who annoy him with his clever tricks.

Helped by that The Inspector is a compelling personality and that the best cartoons in the series are as good as prime-Pink Panther. The weak spot in almost all the cartoons did tend to be the story, often being formulaic with surprises being few and the momentum varied.
