They did the same with the Mobile Protected Firepower vehicle (where US soldiers from an airborne unit came up with designs like this and this) and the Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle.

2022年4月28日 · fairly sure the lynx has a manned turret, and considering its optionally unmanned (though why you'd want an unmanned personnel carrier is beyond me) the turret would still have positions for crew. Also, pretty much every opinion from former or current crewmen states that they really dont like the idea of all crew being in the hull.
