2025年1月14日 · I’m getting a p0038 code but the only thing I can see wrong is a fluctuating voltage in the downstream o2 sensor, hinting at a dirty or bad cc. Correct me if I’m wrong, but wouldn’t that be a p0420 code instead? I already replaced the sensor , that didn’t fix it, I’m wondering where to move on from here. Thank you

2024年8月1日 · It states 25% which means based on the reading from the bank 1 O2 sensor it thinks the engine is running lean and demanding to increase fuel (richen up). If this reading is wrong, meaning the engine is running just fine but a bad sensor reading and demanding a lot more fuel, it would cause your issue.

2020年2月14日 · Normally you want the downstream oxygen sensor voltage to be somewhere in the 2.75V-2.85V range. Looking at the scan tool or using a DVOM the sensor voltages will be in the 2.50V-3.50V range. When the oxygen sensors are hot, the O2 sensor becomes a galvanic battery that typically generates a voltage signal between 0.0V - 1.0V.

2018年8月19日 · I bought a 03 1500 5.7 and I went to do an oil change and saw that it had a set of Headman Long Tube headers with the O2 Sensor holes plugged. So I got to looking and the truck only has 2 O2 sensors. It has a cat on each side of the Y pipe and the cat on the passenger side has an O2 sensor in it and then there is another O2 sensor after the Y pipe.

2011年11月13日 · ^^^^^ DITTO ^^^^^. The dealership just replaced the upper and lower bank O2 sensors on MY 19 Bighorn. Rather unusual they be bad at 18,000K, but codes were thrown and would not reset on the sensor indicated, they had to replace both on same side for ECU to read and reset. Not hurt my feelings, under warranty.

2022年7月21日 · The fuel trim data labeled "O2 Bank 1/2 Sensor 2" doesn't make sense. Fuel trims are calculated per bank not per sensor. That might be a quirk in the OBD2 application. Ideally look at graphs for upstream and downstream sensors on both banks to see of the issue is connected to fuel.
