2017年3月31日 · I played this patch side by side with one of my favorite AxII AC20 patches and it's got everything I was looking for in a small portable package. The dynamics are slightly less responsive to me than the Ax, but it's an apples to oranges comparison there because they aren't the same amp models. However, the tone is great.

2024年2月15日 · People get option-paralysis just because their eyes can see there's so much more to the amps than just the eq and gain knobs etc. and that's a mistake. With around 300 amp models, there's plenty to choose from. If you don't like an amp model with minimal tweaking, you can immediately move on.

I had also tried Line 6 from the original Pod Pro to the current Helix LT. I am a player of 40 years and have a few great tube amps and an impressive pedal board...I am not lugging these out to gigs anymore.

I actually got the IR200 to replace my amplifire-box, but I still find it useful and put it on my "B board". What I don't like about the AFB is the confusing eq parameters.

2015年8月4日 · You can restore from it and the patches will be "factory default." As a note to others, as mentioned above, when you unbox a new AmpliFire, plug it into the editor and do a full backup. Amplifire 6 vs HX Stomp - The Gear Page
2019年2月12日 · The core tones in the Amplifire are pretty nice on most of the amps. The Stomp has nice tones too, way more amp, cab and effects choices. I prefer the Line 6 editor over the Atomic one by a mile. The Stomp is just way more flexible than the Atomic. Plus you get Line 6’s customer service, which is top notch.

A little background: I bought the original Amplifire when it first came out and have been using it live 2-3 times per week ever since. Before it, I had sworn off modelers after giving a year of my life to the AxeFX2 and not digging it.
