The structural organization of the mouse kidney | Brain Structure …
The structural organization of the mouse kidney has been investigated by means of standard histology procedures, by injecting the blood vessels and by injecting single nephrons. The arrangement of the nephrons establishes a zonation which, in the medulla, differs to some extend from that seen in other mammalian species.
Mouse kidney development - PubMed
2009年1月15日 · Here I review our understanding of how the three different vertebrate kidney types (pronephros, mesonephros, and metanephros) arise during mouse development with a more comprehensive focus on the molecular regulation of metanephros formation.
Mouse kidney development - StemBook - NCBI Bookshelf
2009年1月15日 · Mouse kidney development begins with the formation of the pronephric duct (also known as the nephric or Wolffian duct; Figure 3). The nephric duct arises from the cranial portion of the intermediate mesoderm and grows caudally down the trunk to fuse with the urogenital sinus (ventral portion of the cloaca) at E11 (Hoar, 1976 ).

Figure 1 Structure of the mammalian kidney. Each kidney is comprised of a fibrous outer layer called the renal capsule, a peripheral layer called the cortex, and an inner layer called the medulla. The medulla is arranged in multiple pyramidal structures that together with overlying cortex comprise a renal lobe (red box).
Unique Features of Anatomy, Histology, and Ultrastructure Kidney, Mouse
The anatomy of the mammalian kidney has been reviewed by Möllendorff (1929, 1930), Latta et al. (1967), and Rouiller (1969). The gross anatomy of the mouse kidney has been described by several authors, including Fekete (1941), Dunn (1949), Hummel et al. (1966),...
Precise reconstruction of the entire mouse kidney at cellular ...
In this paper, we propose a pipeline from sample preparation to optical microscopic imaging of the entire kidney, followed by data processing for 3D reconstruction of the whole mouse kidney.
A high-definition spatiotemporal transcriptomic atlas of …
2025年1月17日 · Here, we present a spatially resolved transcriptome atlas at single-cell resolution to explore the establishment and maintenance of kidney structure in mice. Our analysis reveals 40 migration-related cell-cell communication events during kidney organogenesis.

1999年11月22日 · Nephrin is a central component of the glomerular podocyte slit diaphragm and is essential for the normal renal filtration process. This study describes the complete structure of the mouse nephrin gene, which was shown to be homologous to the human gene, the major difference being 30 exons in the mouse gene as opposed to 29 in human.
