2018年8月2日 · I've done a bit of homework and would like to try a new track for her this year narrowing it down to 2 options: Rip2 1.5 or the new Storm 150. can anybody speak towards the Rip1 1.25 vs the Rip2 1.5. Or Rip2 1.5 vs Storm 150? The Storm 150 is new this year as far as I can tell, but I suspect it corners looser/more forgiving than the Rip2 1.5.

2018年1月15日 · I've installed a 1.25 ripsaw 2 on my sled I've had it in for 1000 miles. I'm looking at installing a 1.5 track as I feel it will be better suited for me . I ride trails mostly, both groomed and ungroomed. The Storm 150 probably hasn't been out long enough for a good review or comparison between it and the ripsaw 2 in 1.5 lug.

2023年9月11日 · I'm 99% sure that the storm has the best forward acceleration of any 1.5" track - certainly better than an ice ripper, and on par with the 1.6 cobra. It's not the shear surface area, but how it's designed.

2021年2月9日 · The storm loses some top end speed but I think it's totally worth it. Acceleration and stopping is so much better with this track. But I also prefer to have my sled setup for corner to corner speed. Buddy has a sidewinder and it came with a ripsaw2. Replaced it with the storm and that thing a different animal now!

2020年4月26日 · If I was looking for best hard pack performance I would probably say the rip 2. Since I wanted something to perform decent when breaking trail also I went with the storm. Best all around trail track imo

2015年3月9日 · Instead of the 1.25" Ripsaw? I've ridden sleds with Cobra tracks, the original Ripsaw, the Ripsaw 2, and a one inch Hacksaw. My favourite track is hands down the Cobra. It's not as durable as the other tracks but stops straight and gets on top of soft snow really quick. Speed kills. Play it safe. Buy a Cat or Doo. If it's a Cat it's a dog.
