2017年11月28日 · Ricky Rudd gets sideways exiting turn 4 at daytona in the 1984 busch clash and starts to fly. He tumbles several time violently twards pit road and finally stops in the infeild grass. He recieved two black eyes yet started the Daytona 500.

Ricky Rudd slamming toward the wall. Crashing rolling over. Here is Ridley on the inside. Uh he might have touched it but sometimes because of the compression there. Here you see Rudd's car turning back the wrong way as the as it slid. The air got under and flipped it back the wrong way.

Ricky Rudd was battered and bruised in a wild, tumbling, sidewinding crash in the Busch Clash, but he won two weeks later in Richmond (despite a concussion suffered in the Clash; NASCAR did not implement a concussion rule until 2014 after Dale Earnhardt, Jr. admitted to racing with an untreated concussion during the 2012 season).

He was running fifth and coming off of turn 4 when he was tapped by Jody Ridley, sending his Ford Thunderbird flying towards that dangerous inside wall (which has since been removed).
