2022年12月27日 · Yup, not much difference. I got more results all core overclocking both the 3600 and 5600. But, since upgrading the main rig to 5800x3d I just use the 5600 in the other desktop, CO-30 on the X3D and -20 on the 5600. Before this I occasionally swapped over to a 4.7ghz all-core OC in ryzen when playing the most demanding games.

2022年6月13日 · And if you use PBO with the 5600, you can get it to 5600X performance anyway. Even if it's only $15, I would personally rather use that money for a slightly better SSD/RAM/PSU. Just going from 3600 CL18 to 3600 CL16 would give you a bigger boost in performance than spending that money on the 5600X ( link_1 , link_2 , link_3 ).

2023年12月20日 · If you're gonna use an RTX 2070 Super, you'll get the same performance on R5 5600 vs R5 7600, except in CPU bound games like Valorant, and higher 1% lows on AAA games. I'd personally take the R5 5600 because by considering RTX 2070 Super already means you're budget constrained, not to mention that AM5 motherboards are more expensive vs AM4.

2022年5月14日 · The 5600 is what is likely the best value CPU of the whole 5000 series. It’s the point where really good processors of that series start at and the perfect entry point for almost any gaming PC. Any higher model, except the 5800X3D, doesn’t offer much of gaming performance improvement. But I wouldn’t go below 5600 either.

2022年6月14日 · for some games there is massive difference, but i dont think that 3600->5600 upgrade is worth unless you play fortnite or other esports competitively. If i was r5 3600 user and wanted the last hoorah for am4 platform i would skip it, either get 5700x/5800x/5900x or 5800x3d. 5600 should be good upgrade for r5 1600(x)/2600(x) users.

2023年9月6日 · I'd upgrade the 5600 if it hits and holds 100% CPU usage, especially in multiple games you invest a lot of time into. But I doubt this will occur. If in certain games the GPU doesn't hit around 95-99% GPU usage then look into why that's happening because often times it's because of how the game is optimized. I recently upgraded from an I5 2400 + Radeon HD 7870XT (Tahiti LE) to an R5 5600 + 6700xt Combo. Running 1440p and can max out most games I play - Some tweaking is needed if I want higher Frame rates, since I also run a 240hz monitor. Depending on the budget I'd say anywhere from a 6600xt-6800 will serve you well.
