2021年3月9日 · Major pros and cons about Waveform 11. This is an appreciation and general discussion post, for the Waveform 11 free. I've been using this DAW for 4 months now and some the major pros are that its so user-friendly. There's hardly any complex routing system, but you can do that if you want using patches and sends almost like FL Studio.

For people who have used Waveform 11, what do you think of it
2022年1月1日 · Version 8 was renamed to Waveform, as the DAW has grown considerably farther away from the original product. Since version 7 they had been giving away a previous version of Tracktion once the new one became available; they modified this approach with Waveform 11, deciding instead to release the majority of the product as a free version.

I use it in conjunction with cubase. Waveform is actually pretty capable. Probably one of the most intuitive daws there is. Its good to have options with daws when i get creative roadblocks. Its like having different cars for one destination. Sometimes you want tot get there fast.

I can certainly get sound coming from the mpk mini, but I know in FL studio there's a way to assign the pads to one channel and the keys to another so I can switch back and forth. Is there a way to do this in waveform free?

One reason it costs less is also because their stock plugins are not great (many are totally functional but nothing special). You’ll want to plan accordingly.
