2013年3月1日 · After testing the NatGeo_World_Map layer above, I also tried "Canvas/World_Light_Gray_Base" and "USA_Topo_Maps". None of the 20-30 options I have tried will allow me to connect. I have downloaded the GM v14.1.6 trial, registered for two week trial, to see if a newer version would help.

Is it possible to present a layout in the Map Layout Editor other than North up? If so, is there a possibility to Create a Feature Mapbook using the feature orientation? (In which case you can than draw and orient plotboxes in the 2d view, and automate importing those views in the Map Layout Editor using Create Feature Mapbook).

I'm currently using global map version 15. My needs are very simple. Currently I use the software to create an outline of a lake To perform this I load world map data onto one of my layers then use the "create new area feature tool" .

To create multiple map legends what you would have to do is setup one map legend, then right-click on the map legend when displayed and save to a BMP, then load that BMP with the File->Open Data File at Fixed Screen Location menu command and place it where you want.

You can do that using the Map Layout dialog. What are you seeing the incorrect text for the Turkish characters? To copy and paste all features to a new layer, just right-click on the layer in the Control Center, then select the option to select all features in the layer, then use Edit->Paste (Ctrl+V) to paste all of the features.

So the suggestion is to have a tool in Global Mapper that will synchronize a Google Earth view based on the Global Mapper map extents. This functionality would be great for Global Mapper given the constraints of how much online imagery you can pull into the application on a daily basis (if all you're doing is using the imagery for reference).

To be honest a map legend should show what is on display on the map really. At the end of the day I can export what is visible on the screen on another model and then the map legend should show only what is on the screen. Thanks for your responses Y
