One I have for potatoes says "2 1/2 lbs potatoes per quart jar (to 3 lbs)" which is an estimation only of the amount of potatoes you should plan on having available per quart jar being filled. There is no way to be accurate since all potatoes are slightly different in size.

2008年10月1日 · Hey - don't EVER feel like using instant potatoes is something substandard. They're POTATOES!!!! Plain & simple. I make them all the time. In fact, if given the choice, my husband prefers them. He grew up with them & simply likes them. I don't see anything wrong with them whatsoever. They're just dehydrated flaked potatoes. Period.
