2024年8月13日 · A kid I coached got into Oxford and went there for the two years before moving to the main campus. He liked Emory Oxford, how small it was (400 per graduating class?), friends, etc. but I believe it was a big change to get accustomed to the big main campus. I also wonder if Emory kids kind of look down at Oxford kids.

Both offer a different style of teaching, but I’ve heard a rumor that lower stat applicants are accepted to Oxford College. Basically, there is a significant difference academically. Is this true? 😮

2020年4月12日 · Scholar Experience or big fish in small pond: Obviously, being a scholar at Emory would be a unique experience with many additional benefits, like access to professors, research opportunities, scholar retreats, etc. Also, I love the Emory campus and when I visited I thought it was a great place and I really liked the overall vibe.

2018年3月24日 · Emory doesn’t have D1 sports and the rah-rah sports atmosphere that goes with it. Emory actually has one of the highest proportion of Pell Grant recipients among top ten schools. Any reputation for snobbishness is undeserved. According to the sortable chart in the linked article, 19% of Emory freshman in 2015 were Pell Grant recipients.
