A supporter of the Republican nominee for North Carolina governor painted a donkey rainbow colors and paraded it in front of a rally in an elaborate – yet bizarre – attack on transgender people.

the decision to paint over the former bar’s rainbow decor and replace it with a red elephant and blue donkey wasn’t the smartest – especially since the Republican symbol replaced a rainbow flag.
