U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer says he's willing to send peacekeeping troops to Ukraine to maintain peace when the war with Russia ends.

Germany has rejected Keir Starmer's peace plan for Britain to deploy troops to Ukraine to support any proposed peacekeeping deal. The Prime Minister had declared that the UK should take centre stage in post-war security guarantees for Ukraine - which would involve putting British troops "in harm's way" to police a potential ceasefire.

A “security guarantee” from the United States is the only way to achieve lasting peace between Ukraine and Russia – and to stop the Kremlin from further aggression, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Monday.
