Former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov “was asked to deplane” a Frontier Airlines plane after a disagreement over him sitting in an exit-row seat, the airline said in a statement to CNN.

The former champion's seat was located next to one of the plane's emergency exits and airline staff raised concerns about his ability to assist other passengers in the event of an emergency.
