A Heartland highway was temporarily closed Monday afternoon after a semi hauling pigs ... in the crash. The pigs being hauled by the semi were contained inside the trailer after it overturned.

Conditions were wet, according to the report. The trailer was transporting market pigs. The Granite Falls Fire Department reported it helped collect many of the animals for subsequent transport.
