We still don’t know what caused a playground fire hot enough to melt metal on the Big Mac Bridge, but we have learned that Hamilton County had more than a dozen bridge fires in recent years.

The revelation came as investigations continue into the fire that has closed the southbound lanes of the Big Mac Bridge.
