A two-week-old baby is in intensive care at a Belfast hospital after an alleged rape. It is understood the baby is in the paediatric unit of the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

A two-week-old baby died of a suspected fracture to the skull, a court heard. Brendon Staddon was born prematurely at 33 weeks on 20 February and died at Yeovil District Hospital on 5 March.
