Temple University leaders say the school placed a bid for UArts' Terra Hall, located at Broad and Walnut streets.

The iconic Center City Philadelphia Macy's store is closing this year, according to reports. Macy's, at 1300 Market St., is set to close in March, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. The Inquirer cited two employees at the store and a "City Hall official" in reporting the closure.

Macy's has released a list of 66 "underproductive" stores it plans to close, three are in Georgia. More closures are expected at a later date.
