Peter Thornley – AKA Kendo Nagasaki – looks good for his age and can still match youngsters in the gym - Jon Super for The Telegraph Peter Thornley celebrated his 83rd birthday last month.
Thornley will not be appearing on Sunday as a Stoke octogenarian but as his alter ego, Kendo Nagasaki – the sword-toting Samurai villain who helped to make British wrestling a sensation.
Wrestling legend Kendo Nagasaki was once knocked flat by a woman with a handbag - it did contain a brick - but such reactions never put him off, and just to prove is he is back, at the age of 83.
