Discovering the rabab – a traditional string instrument believed to have originated in Afghanistan and integral to Sufi and Kashmiri folk music – added a new dimension to my passion.

Ayaan’s passion for preserving Kashmir’s cultural identity is deeply rooted in his love for Sufi music. “Sufism has always held a special place in Kashmiri culture,” he explained.
