A shock resignation came from Scotland on Monday, as Scottish National Party (SNP) leader Humza Yousaf quit the role and job of first minister amid a major crisis for the Scottish government.
Humza Yousaf with his wife Nadia El-Nakla, daughter Amal, and step-daughter Maya Humza Yousaf has been elected to succeed Nicola Sturgeon as SNP leader and Scotland's next first minister.
Humza Yousaf is the First Minister of Scotland and the leader of the SNP. The 37-year-old is the youngest ever First Minister and the first person from an ethnic minority background to hold the role.
