The city of Redding has been making strides to revitalize its downtown area, and local businesses are joining the effort.

A new Japanese “fusion lounge” starring a former Nobu chef will take over the city laneway bar which previously hosted Prohibition-style jazz venues, Laneway Lounge and The Volstead Lounge.
