A new women's professional lacrosse league is set to begin competition in the United States in 2025 ahead of the sport's return to the Olympics.

It joins Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse, founded in 2020. WLL organizers said the leagues' seasons will not conflict. Women's sports viewership and interest has accelerated over the past few years.
