Launched in 1949 as a full-size car, the Dodge Coronet was discontinued in 1959. The nameplate returned only six years later as a midsize rig, becoming an integral part of the muscle car wars.

The Coronet opened, as the Forrest Theatre, in 1925. Named for Edwin Forrest, one of America’s first great classical actors, the theatre was produced by the Shuberts and designed by Herbert J.
