A family of rare Roloway monkeys - one of the world’s most endangered species of primates - has arrived at Chester Zoo. Staff have welcomed four of the "incredibly special" monkeys to the zoo ...
Two critically-endangered monkeys have been born at Chester Zoo. The Cheshire zoo said the twin cotton-top tamarin monkeys were born to parents Leo and Treat, following a five-month pregnancy.
The birth follows the arrival of a male from another zoo in the hope he would breed. The Chester Zoo centre will play a role in the conservation of the world’s most under-threat animals.
