Contracts for the deal agreed between the New York Jets and quarterback Justin Fields have been revealed. On the opening day of the 2025 NFL free agency frenzy on Monday, the Jets signed their presumed next starter under center. Upon first being reported, it was said that the 25-year-old inked a two-year deal in New York.

The New York Jets needed a quarterback, and in Justin Fields, the franchise got one for at least the 2025 season. The two-year, $40 million deal gives Aaron Glenn a versatile, dual-threat quarterback to develop with offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand.
