Hello, I am staying at the Melia Lodge in August 2022. I would like to do the Balloon ride and was wondering if it is feasible to do it the same morning if I have a flight out from Seronera at 11:30am. If so, will you pick me up at the lodge the morning of the ride or the evening prior? Will the tour organizers be able to drop me off at the airport instead of lodge. Thanks

Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes you can definitely do that as the balllon ride is right before sunrise, so that you can catch the sun while you are floating over the Serengeti. We will pick you up from Melia in the morning and drop you off with your tour operator who will take you to the airport.
We are hoping to stay in Melia Serengeti- do you offer pick up and drop off in the price quoted? Or would that be extra? Many thanks!

Thank you so much for your enquiry! We fly from Central Serengeti (throughout the year) and the Western Corridor (Jun-Oct) or Ndutu (20th Dec-31st March) every morning and the price is $599 per person all inclusive in a shared balloon. This includes from your camp or lodge (early!) and transfer to the launch site for a dawn take-off. After a wonderful flight of approximately 1 hour, we will give you a champagne toast on landing and then a ‘full english’ breakfast under a tree before returning you to your safari guide at the Seronera Visitors Centre or some other mutually agreed location. The price does not include park entry fees, which are usually covered in the tour operator package.
Im planning to travel throughout Africa in Sept 2019. If I am coming from Nairobi what will be the best way to get to you all?
