I would also do 12 hours. Make sure you take motion sickness meds as it is fairly small boat. and the water can be rough.

The 4 hour trips are bay fishing. Catch can be hit or miss. We have crushed it on Gafftop and caught some other species, where we had very little action and no keepers. You can …
The 4 hour trips are bay fishing. Catch can be hit or miss. We have crushed it on Gafftop and caught some other species, where we had very little action and no keepers. You can call the shop and they might give you more insight as what to expect for that time of year. Also, see if they are doing an 8 hour state water Snapper trip. That is the trip you want to take!!! Even if you have to change the day you were thinking about fishing, if they are doing the Snapper trip, the Captain of that boat they use for that trip will put you on fish! If you are going through the effort to make a trip, and want to really catch fish, for not a lot more money, take one of the longer trips.
