Lots of history here. Defiantly worth paying the $40 for a guided tour. It was very hot the afternoon we were here. Take bottled water. Within walking distance of the river walk. A bit difficult … CountryGal5759的完整评论

This is a really interesting piece of US history, and although there was a lot of building works it was still very much worth the visit. I'm not sure I could recommend the museum as well, as the cura… Deringrr的完整评论

Such a wealth of information is provided in the guided tour. Our guide (Illa?) was very knowledgeable and gave us such a good historical context and timeline for the Alamo's battle. fbglove的完整评论
Do you need timed tickets for the actual Alamo or is it just specific buildings?

I've been there several times over the years as recently as last month it's never been so busy that you should be too concerned. The tickets are free but they are timed. It's one building a gift shop and an adjacent infirmary building. If possible go early and check I had to make sure no big functions are going on. We stayed at an RV park and used Uber/Lyft. You can call the San Antonio Parking Office to see where you can park. Thar's what we do when we visit a city with limited parking.
Are there entry fees to Mission San Jose, San Antonio Missions park, and the Alamo? Also, I have seen four different ticket prices on the River Walk boat. How much is it per person? Thanks so much!!

The missions we went to there was no entry fee. There is also no entry for the Alamo but you can pay for a guided tour. We did the tour and it was fantastic! River walk boat tour prices vary depending because some offer drinks, dinners, and other things. We did just the tour (the tour guide was hilarious) if I recall correctly it was around $16 a person. Hope that helps!
