A Grade I listed Victorian theatre in Newcastle upon Tyne, offering a varied and vibrant programme of; comedy, music, theatre, entertainment & family shows. Tyne Theatre & Opera House is an independent venue and charity, boasting a rare example wooden modular under-stage machinery and a rich history. The theatre was built in 1867 by industrialist and politician Joseph Cowen who envisioned a 'theatre for everyone', which remains at the heart of the venue's ethos.

Visited here to see an evening comedy show. Great easy assessable location. Friendly staff at entrance. Ceilings are really beautiful but the seats are quite dirty. Alcohol prices through the roof … Jack2657的完整评论
