This is a very famous beach in Muscat city. The beach is nice but is not as great as I expected. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Overall good for some beach walks or to spend some time.ravindrav48的完整评论

Some beaches you can't swim. QURUM beach is a public beach and is very nice but not many swimmers then of course females must cover up.
Are there any public facilities anywhere on the 4 km strand of the beach? Public washroom, change room, shower? We are checking out of our hotel in the city at noon and would like to spend the afternoon at the beach before catching our airplane in the evening. So changing in and out of a swimming suit is a must + shower. Thank you in advance for any advice.

We actually walked on the beach from Intercontinental hotel to Grand Hyatt and found the following: - relatively clean public washroom inside the mall with Costa Coffee. You can change in there with some effort. - on the beach to the left (with palm trees) non- functioning outdoor shower. - further down the beach towards Grand Hyatt: there are 2 outdoor showers that are semi- functioning (not a lot of water pressure).
