This place is really dependend on which season you’re visiting. I visited in June when there are no flamingos and just had a look for 5 minutes and left. Cool to see but nothing that special. paradisefallstravels的完整评论

I was there in summer and could not see the flamingos at the salt lake. I am reliably informed that the flamingos arrive after rain and that should be in later winter, early spring. So if you go around Jan - Mar, you will can see the flamingos. At the salt lake, just make sure that you dont stop the car on the road. There is a stop point a little up, near the mosque of Prophet Mohammad's aunt. You can walk out the back and along the lake shore. It is beautiful. Pls also note not to litter as the flamingos are easily disturbed if their habitat is dirty. I wish you good journey,

Hi Anna, the best time to see Flamingos at the salt lake is late November to mid March. Last year we only had a few hundred but the year before was at least two thousand plus. There are many places to see the Flamingos try the airport side or the mosque area. Hope you get to see these awesome birds on your next visit. Glenn & Dawn (Larnaca)
