In Singapore, the use of e - cigarettes is not allowed. Not too sure about Thailand.
HI, has anybody been to Koh Lipe recently? Can only find some not so good reviews from 2011 about the ferry trip(from Koh Lanta). Especially would like to hear about the way you have to get from the ferry to a longtail boat in mid-sea( my husband is slightly immobile).

I stayed at Koh Lipe a couple months ago. Due to your husbands slight mobility issue I think you might have some issues getting to the island. My girlfriend and I took the speedboats to the island from Koh Lanta. I would not recommend the speed boats for anyone with mobility issues. I am not sure about the ferry option. Another concern would be travel in the island. The roads on the island are very bad for the most part. The travel is ruff and bounces all over. I think you and your husband could get on the ferry without problems but I didn't see any easy way to get off the ferry/speedboat or to get back on it when leaving. The boats and the hotels are separate so it may be difficult to get additional help.
