Hi, it's about 45min - 1 hr from Surfer's paradise. We left early and made sure we have plenty of time to find the place. There's a large car park at the mariner where we boarded the ferry. The ride to the island took about 1 hour. On the way there we were served morning tea. The staff came round to give us safety instructions and and explained what we can expect to see out there. after the first snorkel we were served lunch, then we proceeded to the second site where we had free time to explore the waters, the beach or the island. Back on the boat for afternoon tea and eco talk as the captain took the boat out for dolphin/marine wild life sightings. After that the boat headed back. It was a full day trip.
Has anyone been in June? Would love to go on the trip but not sure if we will see anything orif the water will be warm enough to go snorkelling.

Hi there, I know the company has an office in Surfers Paradise at the bottom end of Cavill Avenue and they do have a shuttle bus that picks up from a couple of the hotels in Surfers. Don't think they pick up from Miami but you could probably catch a bus to Surfers Paradise... There is an option to book onto the shuttle when you make the booking online, but I'd give them a call just to check if they will pick up from Miami. Hope that helps.

My grand daughter is 6, and we have taken a few times locally to get her used to snorkelling but I don't know if a four year old would be ok up there
