This is fun for people who really like lighthouses and want to learn. I could have spent an hour or more in here. My three teenagers blew through it in 12 minutes and were bored. I should have l… MELISSA P的完整评论

It all depends on your interest in lighthouses and their keepers. Some might spend an hour and others could spend a lot longer. We also have thousands of unique and beautiful gifts in the Lighthouse Gift Shop at the museum. Hope you enjoy your visit!!
Why do you list the wrong website for the museum? The correct hours are now Monday-Friday from 10 am to 5 pm and Saturday & Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm

Perhaps a lesson in proofreading might serve you well in the future before trying to correct someone (see below)! And, since we're being all technical, the red stripped lighthouse for the museum's photo is not in Rockland, ME either. It's the West Quaddy Head Lighthouse in Lubec, ME, and it's located well north of Rockland at the Canadian border. It's also the farthest eastern point in the USA. My Review I wrote: There's a minimal charge to go here, but it's worth it. It's got many types of lighthouse lenses here. Some are absolutely huge! They have a gift shop. It's easy to get to. There's a lot of lighthouse memorabilia here other than lenses. It takes about 30-60 to go through the museum. The Owls Head Lighthouse is only a few miles from here as is the Rockland Breakwater Light. They do have restroom facilities.
