Hi! I have not visited Heidelberg over Easter, but we considered a visit in the Spring and I read on Trip Advisor that many businesses are closed the Easter Weekend , including Monday. The transportation pass, however is a great deal over the weekend because it covers travel from Good Friday until Tuesday AM, so side trips are an option. Again, I read this on Trip Advisor. It all depends on the number of people in the group, on your budget, and on whether you prefer an apartment to a room at a hotel, with all the differences this choice implies. We stayed at the zum Pfalzgrafen, a very simple one, well located, in the centre of the city.
