As a site-holder and regular visitor to Falls Creek I am appalled by the zero standard of service from the lift company. There is no way to speak to staff other than via email, and I have had a numb… MWKE的完整评论

Peak season and one major access lift not open. Not ski on ski out as you can't ski out as many accommodations can't ski out because gully chairlift is closed. Lift company claims low visitation yet … amybD1634EV的完整评论

Plenty of lifts lead to good coverage of the ski resort. Also the wait for a lift is short and rarely more than 5 minutes. For an old bloke looking for a rest this works well. P8766PImarks的完整评论
Being a first timer and needing to get up to the ski school, can you carry your skis on the Village chair? As a beginner I can't imagine putting on the skis and joining the queue. Have others found this very first part of learning a comfortable experience?

Dear Ian, as a beginner I carried my skis and poles. I was terrified as first (I also had my husband and 6 year old novices with me), but after a couple of trips you quickly get the hang of it. Tell the staff that you are a first timer/beginner and they will help you, I found the staff amazing. Sit on the far side of the chairlift and they can help you then. After a few runs of Wombats you may end up finding it easier to keep the skis on and ski off at the top, but this will take a little practice. We were all first timers last week and after a few days you're skiing down, getting in line and going back up for round 2,3,4 etc. Just ask for help, everyone was pretty friendly - oh and if one of the Ski Instructors ask "can you take a child up with you", tell them you are a beginner and no you can't, they will appreciate your honesty. I also agree with the advice of not waiting for the Village Shuttle, if it happens to be there when you walk by, ask if it's going your way, otherwise I would just walk with skis/poles. The wait is too long and when you get to the front of the line, they may say they aren't going to where you want to go and you'll need to wait for the next shuttle - that happened to us, we never waited again. Hope you enjoy your time, relax and have fun !
