This is so beautiful and a very quiet area. We were staying a few nights in Hyde Park and took a day to explore. I was very impressed with the library and museum. It's definitely a must see. Jean V的完整评论

Your ticket is good for two days. You can easily spend both days in their entirety. The house tour is timed, and lasts maybe two hours. But the library and museum have days worth of material to read and observe. Plus there are other sights in Hyde Park connected with the Roosevelts if you have the time and inclination. there is Top Cottage (Franklin's retreat) and Val-Kill (Eleanor's retreat) available for guided tours as well.
What is the best way to come to the FDR library from NYC? Not including car.

probably by train from Grand Central but you would have to check about where to et off.not sure there is a station at hyde park(not the hyde park on the Long Island Railroad line!!)
