You will be smiling and relaxing in no time while on the grounds of this fun, urban retreat. On my visit, the house itself was closed for a special event, but the gardens surprised me with how carefu… Cosmo9213的完整评论
Hi, I have doctor appointment in Stanford on Friday and plan to visit your garden after. My questions are: Is it handicapped accessible? Or is it easy to walk around if you are limping? How about parking? Is there a restaurant/cafe onsite for light snack/coffee? How much is entrance fee? Thank you

Hi Karunia, Welcome to Palo Alto. Gamble Garden. is a lovely with paths somewhat pebbly. I'm pretty sure wheelchairs could be pushed through the main areas but not through the vegetable gardens. there are small parking lots on Waverley and Churchill as well as street parking on Waverley and Churchill. You can usually find a space unless there is an event that day. There is no restaurant/cafe onsite, though but if you go down the east on Alma just east of the tracks, Town and Country has a large selection of restaurants and cafes to eat at. And no entrance fee. It's a lovely little garden (on only 1/2 a block) and has been there since my mom was a little girl in the 30's. I love the fact that they have labels on all of the plants so you don't have to guess at what you're looking at and the variety of plants is amazing. Many people including I have done numerous photo shoots there as well as attend events. Enjoy!
