This forest is part of the Pippiwei trail about a mile in of a 2-mile hike. The boardwalk is built mostly through the bamboo. Awesome to sit and listen to the forest! We even saw a wild boar diggin… Jungle_traveler51的完整评论
Is this hike open to the public or not a few saying “locals “ say no private etc... they may want to just get rid of tourist? Planning our anniversary and really want to do this trip/hike to the bamboo forest and falls. Thanks all ;)

When we went our family made the hike despite the signs indicating private property (they just want to get rid of tourists). We had locals who were friendly help us hike all the way to the top. Unless you have a guide I wouldn't recommend going past the first waterfall as it's easy to get hurt or lost if you don't know the specific places to climb/jump. This hike is definitely worth it and is by far the prettiest and coolest place I've ever been. It's hard to find the trailhead and path to the first waterfall, many dead ends. We were able to find specific directions online which ultimately allowed us to find it.
